What You Will Do

This position is for a Co-op position in the Aftermarket and Sustainment Engineering ASE organization. ASE develops innovative repair solutions to observed & predicted distress on components for all P&W jet engines in order to economically return the engine to service.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Part of a multi-discipline Integrated Product Team IPT to establish repair design requirements and ensure repairs are safe durable and meet the quality requirements of the Original Engineering Manufactured OEM parts.
• Assist in researching operating environments functionality of components their interactions with mating parts and develop repair strategies which will return damaged parts back to service.
• Assist in creating technical documents that will provide engineering requirements for repairs including a high level sequence of operations forming the basis for manufacturing operation sheets.
• Participate in the prototyping of new repairs as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Enrolled in a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience in Unigraphics or equivalent 3D modeling software

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37000 USD - 82000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.
