Job Summary
Foundry Production Worker
(Actual job will be assigned at New Hire Orientation and is based on the production needs at that time.)
Location: Tyler TX
Pay: Most openings pay $22.66/hour
Shift: Most openings are 2nd Shift
What Youll Do:
- Complete the job duties related to their assigned work area such as:
- Operator machinery to make fitting cores.
- Grind fittings to remove excess iron and prepare them for coating.
- Inspect stack and bundle pipe for transfer to inventory yard.
- Always follow safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communicate production issues to your supervisor.
- Keep work area clean safe and orderly.
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications :
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Pass an employment background check drug screening and physical fitness test. (To be coordinated through Tyler Pipes HR & Safety Departments)
- Have verifiable and consistent work experience.
- Capacity and readiness to excel in quality and achieve specified production output goals.
- Ability to work in a foundry environment which can be hot and/or dirty at times.
- Mentality that can easily adapt to production demands and requirements.
- Understanding of the handling and use of mechanical tools and equipment.
- Willingness to work when needed and to help and volunteer across a variety of different machines.
- Dedication to safety by following all safety rules/procedures and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and
- Ability to maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Excellence attendance and punctuality.

Additional Information :
Candidates for the Industrial Maintenance Millwright position must meet the following requirements:
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Have verifiable and consistent work experience.
- Pass a written exam to demonstrate knowledge of various millwright topics. (The result will be used to determine a candidates base knowledge for the appropriate starting wage.)
- Pass an employment background check drug screening and physical fitness test. (To be coordinated through Tyler Pipes HR & Safety Departments)
Candidates for the Industrial Maintenance Millwright position should meet the following:
- Ability to identify mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems malfunctions.
- Understanding of the correct handling and use of mechanical repair tools and equipment.
- Ability to effectively manage time and coordinate work functions with co-workers.
- Initiative and ability to work unsupervised at times.
- Willingness to work when needed and to help and volunteer across a variety of different machines.
- Dedication to safety by following all safety rules/procedures and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and
- Ability to maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Excellence attendance and punctuality.
