Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support our industrial automation product including PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) HMI (Human-Machine Interfaces) and Remote I/O solutions. The FAE will serve as a technical expert providing pre-sales support application consulting and post-sales assistance to ensure successful customer adoption and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for PLC HMI and Remote I/O products including system design configuration and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with the sales team to deliver pre-sales technical presentations product demonstrations and proof-of-concept testing.
- Offer application consulting and recommend solutions tailored to customer requirements.
- Conduct product training for customers partners and internal teams.
- Support customers during project implementation ensuring proper integration and optimization of automation systems.
- Collect customer feedback and work closely with R&D and product management to improve products and solutions.
- Participate in trade shows seminars and technical workshops to promote company solutions.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Automation Mechatronics Computer Engineering or related field.
- Solid knowledge of industrial control systems automation architecture and networking (Ethernet/IP PROFINET Modbus etc.).
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming HMI design software and Remote I/O configuration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues in automation environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with major PLC/HMI platforms.
- Familiarity with SCADA IIoT and Industry 4.0 applications.
- Prior customer-facing or technical support experience.
