Job Summary
At QAD we are looking for a Senior Web Engineer who is passionate about new technologies and wants to be part of the team developing and maintaining the QAD Champion Webapp serving the primary AI use-cases for various products within QAD. As a part of the Engineering team based in the US and Europe this role will bring you great opportunities to work on various projects technologies with a diverse range of teams. You will play a key role on a fast paced project using agentic AI to accelerate your delivery.
What you will do:
- Develop and enhance user experience with AI workflows in support of the various QAD applications
- Complete delivery work committed during the sprint to achieve business goals.
- Help the business maintain a competitive edge by leveraging the latest Web technologies.
- Rely on feature flags to rapidly deploy and iterate on new features and lower the risk of delivering software to production.
- Provide subject matter expertise during incidents to resolve customer issues quickly.
- Participate in forums to explore interests outside of the sprint work and contribute ideas to continuously improve the system.
- Commit to the team to help the team and the wider business achieve our goals.

Qualifications :
Technical skills (must haves):
- Deep 5 years of Web Development
- 3 Years of Vue expertise in the modern ecosystem including Vue 3 and the Composition API.
- Deep familiarity with Vite as a primary build tool and development server.
- Proficiency in TypeScript for building scalable and type-safe applications.
- Deep expertise in Vue core Libraries like Pinia stores and Vue Router
- Skilled in creating responsive modern UIs with Tailwind CSS based on Figma designs
- Strong commitment to quality with hands-on experience writing unit testing and end-to-end testing.
- Familiarity with Trunk-Based Development Continuous Delivery and using tools like LaunchDarkly for feature flagging.
- Strong knowledge about and Typescript ecosystem and libraries
Nice to Have:
- Docker
- Experience using Mock Service Worker (MSW) for robust API mocking during development.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Experience with front-end monitoring tools specifically Datadog RUM.
- Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) Systems Architectures
- Generating endpoints and models from OAS
- Experience using agentic ai tools (e.g Claude code Copilot) to speed up delivery
