Your responsibilities
- Creating 3D models parametric models drawings and bills of materials for the new development and enhancement of gasketed and brazed plate heat exchangers
- Preparing editing and approving mechanical pressure vessel strength calculations
- Producing standardized customer catalog certification and bolt reference drawings
- Creating and editing change reports
- Creating and reviewing assembly instructions
- Close cooperation with related departments such as Research and Innovation in an international environment
Your profile
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Thermodynamics or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience
- Very good knowledge of CAD programs preferably Inventor
- Good knowledge of working with parametric models preferably Inventor iLogic
- Good knowledge of working with PDM systems preferably Vault
- Very good knowledge of thermodynamics
- Good knowledge of heat exchangers particularly plate heat exchangers
- Good knowledge of pressure equipment directives (e.g. ASME or DIN EN 13445) and their analytical calculation
- Knowledge of FEM (Finite Element Method) calculations
- Good command of German and English
- Good knowledge of common MS Office applications
- Structured working style
- Workplace at one of the locations in Sarstedt (near Hanover) or Wilchwitz (near Altenburg) with a willingness for occasional travel to the other site
