Your responsibilities

Creating 3D models parametric models drawings and bills of materials for the new development and enhancement of gasketed and brazed plate heat exchangers
Preparing editing and approving mechanical pressure vessel strength calculations
Producing standardized customer catalog certification and bolt reference drawings
Creating and editing change reports
Creating and reviewing assembly instructions
Close cooperation with related departments such as Research and Innovation in an international environment

Your profile

Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Thermodynamics or a related field
Minimum 3 years of professional experience
Very good knowledge of CAD programs preferably Inventor
Good knowledge of working with parametric models preferably Inventor iLogic
Good knowledge of working with PDM systems preferably Vault
Very good knowledge of thermodynamics
Good knowledge of heat exchangers particularly plate heat exchangers
Good knowledge of pressure equipment directives (e.g. ASME or DIN EN 13445) and their analytical calculation
Knowledge of FEM (Finite Element Method) calculations
Good command of German and English
Good knowledge of common MS Office applications
Structured working style
Workplace at one of the locations in Sarstedt (near Hanover) or Wilchwitz (near Altenburg) with a willingness for occasional travel to the other site
