Job Summary
CEDA is currently seeking a Hot Oiler Operator at our Estevan SK location! Opportunity to learn and gain experience on Hot Oilers to the right candidate who has a background in the oilfield!!!

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain hot oilers in addition knowledge of vacuum trucks high pressure water equipment and various specialty tools would be an asset
- Proficient in driving manual transmissions on commercial vehicles
- 90% of your day is outside of the truck boots on the ground!
- Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labor intensive capacity
- Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment our experienced crew has your back
- Ensure safety for all team members and property
- Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
- Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment
- Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip inspections job reports and safety documents
- Challenge your eye for detail practice what we preach. Take your time get the job done right the first time and safely every time
- Provide guidance to Laborers as required
- Strictly observe and enforce all company and client safety requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 1 or 3 license with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required
- Driving is in your nature then passing CEDAs Driver Assessment in a manual transmission will be a breeze (10 13 and 18 speed)
- Experience in an industrial environment and asset
- SCOT (Safety Construction Orientation Training) Certification is an asset
- H2S Alive First Aid Confined Space and Fall Protection certification an asset
- Mechanical experience would be a significant asset
- Able to provide negative results on pre-employment and client pre-access drug and alcohol testing
Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
- Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
- Enjoy working outdoors the majority of the time in varied weather conditions
