Job Summary
The Business Analyst Manager performs both management functions by overseeing business analysts and performs advanced business analyst functions as well. Identifies and defines business process requirements. Acts as a liaison between business units and clients to research and identify alternative business solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees the work of business analysts and ensures that department goals and objectives are met
- Serve as liaison for Sales Client Services IT Project Management and the client
- Analyze business process requirements through testing business consulting and support services
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions
- Gathers requirements from Sales Client Services and Client
- Creates and maintains project specifications and project workflow diagrams describing overall business solutions
- Assists in the development of Statements of Work Change Requests and Business Requirements Documents
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops reviewing professional publications and benchmarking state-of-the-art practices
- Perform data analysis and documentation in order to identify potential areas of automation and re-engineering the underlying business process
- Bachelors degree in a science or business field or 6 years of business analytics systems analyst or related work experience; or any combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as company policies; ability to write routine reports and correspondences; can professionally present themselves orally or verbally
- Experience with Microsoft Office such as Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook; ability to develop and Maintain SQL Queries.
