Job Summary

Looking for a hands-on role where you can stay active and make an impact Join our team as a Shipper/Receiver responsible for supporting daily operations by handling shipping and receiving tasks moving materials throughout our Sarver PA medical facility and ensuring accurate inventory control. This is a daylight shift entry-level position with on-the-job training and opportunities to grow within the company.

What Youll Do:
  • Prepare outgoing shipments by securely packaging products to prevent damage during transit.
  • Read work orders and follow instructions to determine materials or containers to be moved.
  • Inspect package and prepare finished products for shipment according to customer specifications.
  • Load/unload materials by hand or using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts.
  • Unload materials and verify contents against order forms.
  • Accurately count weigh and document quantities of materials moved or handled.
  • Transport items between workstations or storage areas.
  • Track inventory and enter data using basic computer systems.
  • Perform both electronic and physical warehouse transactions such as material put-away receiving and Niton gun material testing.
  • Distribute purchase receipts to designated departments.
  • Assist with pickups and deliveries to suppliers customers and other Oberg locations.
  • Operate forklifts and hoists (license/training provided).
  • Maintain clean safe and organized workspaces.

What You Bring:
  • Ability to follow instructions and work orders.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid drivers license required.
  • Forklift license (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Must have a working knowledge of Windows based computer programs
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or be able to comply with U.S. export regulations

Physical Requirements:
  • Able to stand bend lift and move for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move materials (up to 35 lbs. with control and unassisted).
  • Raise arms above shoulders and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Comfortable working on your feet and using hands/tools.
  • Must be able to wear PPE (safety glasses ear protection etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift required.


Work Environment:
This role often requires lifting and securing heavy materials and may involve working near moving machinery and exposure to varying weather conditions. At Oberg Industries we believe in fostering a collaborative on-site work environment. Accordingly employees are expected to be on-site in order to perform their job.
