What youll do
Docusigns Lifecycle Marketing team is laser-focused on one goal: ensuring our 1.7M customers dont just purchase Docusignthey actively adopt engage and expand their use of our platform. As Sr. Lifecycle Marketing Manager you will own the end-to-end architecture and execution of lifecycle strategies that inspire customers to get value from Docusign every day. From data-driven onboarding and activation triggers through long-term engagement youll instrument and optimize sophisticated journeys and campaigns that drive product adoption deepen usage and reduce churn.
In this highly visible cross-functional role youll translate business goals into a technical and programmatic roadmap that delivers measurable customer outcomesdriving usage retention and expansion at scale. Youll partner closely with Product Growth Sales-Led Marketing Product Marketing Data Science Customer Success and Sales to create a seamless data-driven customer experience that motivates ongoing engagement and maximizes lifetime value.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Director of Lifecycle Marketing.
Responsibility
Architect manage and optimize complex multi-channel customer journeys (email in-product messaging guided notifications) triggered by product usage data customer attributes and time-based milestones
Develop and manage the data-driven logic that governs customer experiences at the intersection of Product-Led (PLG) and Sales-Led (SLG) motions ensuring customers get the right message at the right time
Own the experimentation roadmap (A/B multivariate testing) for onboarding and adoption constantly iterating to improve activation rates time-to-value and feature adoption
Own the segmentation strategy for adoption programs using product analytics customer data (from CRM/CDP) and AI models to deliver highly personalized relevant interventions
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Growth Engineering Data Science Support and Sales to align efforts and amplify results.
Monitor and communicate weekly monthly and/or quarterly performance reports that quantify impact identify trends and encapsulate key initiatives
Turn business and customer goals into quarterly and annual customer marketing plans gaining consensus across the organization
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
Bachelors degree in marketing business or related field
8 years of experience in customer or lifecycle marketing with a strong focus on data-driven onboarding activation and adoption programs in B2B SaaS
Proven ability to design and execute a rigorous experimentation plan (A/B testing etc.) and use results to optimize customer journeys
Proven track record of turning data into actionable insights and measurable improvements
Preferred
Deep expertise in designing lifecycle programs at a company with a hybrid PLG and SLG GTM motion
- Strong analytical skills
Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence across global regional and technical teams
Strong project management capabilities and comfort operating in fast-moving matrixed organizations

Wage Transparency
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience.
Based on applicable legislation the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $126900.00 - $197800.00 base salary
Illinois Colorado Massachusetts and Minnesota: $120800.00 - $166100.00 base salary
Washington Maryland New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $120800.00 - $174525.00 base salary
This role is also eligible for the following:
- Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
- Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
