Climate Bonds Initiative (Climate Bonds) is an international not-for-profit organisation working to mobilise global capital for climate action and grow a credible finance market aligned with a 1.5C pathway and resilient economies. Our work spans science-based sector criteria Paris-aligned taxonomies standards and certification market intelligence investor networks research technical assistance and policy advisory in nearly 30 countries.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable individual to work directly with the Chief Investment Officer. This is a dynamic role with high exposure to organisational strategy investor engagement and cross-functional operations. You will help shape and deliver Climate Bonds strategy while supporting the growth of our fundraising and investment activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and deliver strategic projects end-to-end with a focus on implementing our strategy.
- Work cross-functionally with product operations and commercial teams to drive firm priorities.
- Develop and manage investor communications and fundraising materials ensuring clarity and impact.
- Enhance internal processes and data systems to support organisational growth and efficiency.
RequirementsWhat Were Looking For
- 13 years experience in consulting startups venture capital or similar fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical skills business acumen and ability to structure and solve problems.
- High comfort with ambiguity and a proactive hands-on approach to wearing multiple hats.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Passion for impact with a strong interest in climate action and sustainable finance.
