Senior Infrastructure Design Engineer Secret clearance

This role supports a Navy customer in Dahlgren VA.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Design Engineers develop and compare alternative layouts or designs which utilize equipment of various kinds and capabilities in diverse physical arrangements. This may involve consideration of structural mechanical and hydraulic features.

Examples of tasks for Design Engineers include working on preliminary designs and specifications and evaluating the numerous and frequent change in design and performance which affect the assigned equipment prior to and during production. Other tasks include reviewing new approaches to circuitry and power distribution or incorporation of automatic self-test methods in equipment design.


Basic Requirements:

7 years of professional experience in mechanical structural or electrical/electronic design with six (6) years of professional experience in relation to network areas such as landlines cellphones voice video and data networks; and wireless communications.

Qualified experience in Visio and AutoCAD as well as more complex network engineering tasks.

Qualified experience in systems studies including planning design development and modifications of existing of planned voice and data communications network systems and subsystems.


Clearance:Secret (US citizenship required)


Education Requirements:Bachelors level degree in an Engineering discipline or Industrial Design.


Certifications:This position is required to have a Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification.


Contract: This position is pending a contract award.
