Job Summary
Who we are:
Appalachian Animal Hospital in Weaverville NC is seeking a small animal veterinarian to join our well-established multi-doctor practice. We provide care for canines felines pocket pets equines and ruminants offering a diverse and rewarding caseload.
We welcome applications from experienced surgically focused veterinarians as well as motivated recent graduates with a strong interest in surgery. Scheduling is flexible and we are open to both full-time and part-time arrangements.
At Appalachian Animal Hospital we pride ourselves on our family-like atmosphere where collaboration support and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do. This opportunity is ideal for veterinarians who enjoy working in a close-knit skilled teaM.
Our full-time schedule consists of four weekdays (MondayFriday) with only one weekend shift per month.
- Urgent Care Hours Monday-Thursday from 12pm -10pm
- Digital radiology ultrasound in-house labs holistic and alternative care
- Skilled support staff and collaborative family-oriented team
- Proud to work with Asheville Humane Society Yancy County Humane Society Madison County Humane Society Hope for Horses and many other shelters and rescues!
