Right now were seeking a Mental Health Recovery Practitioner to join our team in PaRK Service. Youll play a vital role in supporting people experiencing mental distress to build the life they want working alongside them in a way thats person-led compassionate and recovery-focused.

Youll be part of a supported community setting providing support in a trauma-informed recovery-based environment.

A role where you can:

  • Co-create and support personalised recovery plans
  • Facilitate peer-driven and staff-led groups
  • Advocate for and promote personal agency in peoples mental health journeys
  • Collaborate with families carers and key supports
  • Model hope and belief in the possibility of recovery
  • Help shape a more inclusive and supportive mental health system


Skills And Experiences

About You

Were looking for someone who brings warmth clinical know-how and a commitment to empowering others. You might have experience in mental health community services or a similar space and you believe in working in ways that are respectful inclusive and hopeful.

To thrive in this role youll have:

  • A Diploma or Degree in Mental Health or a relevant Human Services field
  • Experience in mental health or community-based support
  • Skills in therapeutic group facilitation and trauma-informed practice
  • A strong team approach and a commitment to recovery principles
  • A current National Police Clearance (under 6 months)
  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • Working with Children Check
  • a Drivers Licence

Bonus points if you have lived experience of recovery (personal or as a carer/supporter)we deeply value lived wisdom.

This role is fixed term part-time until 30 June 2026 offering 45 hours per fortnight.
