• Work on Engineering design for numerous roadway drainage and design-build projects including collector streets urban arterials rural and urban expressways interstates and bridge replacements across the southeast.
• Assist in all aspects of roadway drainage design including bridge hydraulic studies culvert design closed drainage system design post-construction water quality structures design and erosion and sedimentation control.
• Prepare construction plans project displays cost estimates reports and technical memos.
• Utilize various design software including MicroStation Inroads GeoPak Open Roads AutoCAD Civil 3d Microsoft Excel GIS HEC-RAS HEC-MS HY8 FlowMaster Pond Pack CulvertMaster ICPR and StormCAD to assist with the design and preparation of construction plans.
• Work efficiently both independently with little supervision and collaboratively in a team setting
• Complete a wide range of tasks in both office and field .

• Currently pursuing Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or another closely related field

• Prior experience with drainage design
• Experience with software platforms such as Bentleys StormCAD CulvertMaster FlowMaster and Pond Pack HEC-RAS HEC-MS HY8 ICPR and/or SWMM

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $15.00 - $25.00 / hour. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
