Responsibilities
Step into a rewarding hospitalbased OB/GYN career where clinical impact teamwork and lifestyle all come together. Pediatrix & Obstetrix is seeking an OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our experienced team at HCA Florida Palms West Hospital serving one of the most desirable regions in South Florida.
Position Highlights
- Join a stable team of four hospitalists providing 24/7 labor & delivery coverage
- 78 24hour shifts per monthenjoy predictable scheduling and meaningful work-life balance
- Diverse responsibilities including:
- OB triage
- Deliveries
- Patient management
- Surgical assists
- Fetal monitoring
- OB/GYN ER coverage
- Supported by a Level III NICU MFMs neonatologists and a full range of pediatric subspecialists
- High-volume environment with 1800 annual deliveries and 3200 triage encounters
- Ideal candidates should hold or be eligible for a Florida medical license
