Job Summary
Role Description:
The Tax Specialist is responsible for managing tax compliance and ensuring adherence to local gaap and IFRS/USA gaap tax regulations. This role provides operational support to the Finance team in accounting and administrative activities contributing to the accurate management of the companys financial flows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage periodic tax obligations (VAT direct taxes withholdings F24 filings etc.)
- Prepare annual tax returns and mandatory communications
- Continuously monitor Italian and European tax regulations
- Oversee digital archiving and document digitization processes
- Support tax planning and risk management activities
- Collaborate with tax consultants auditors and relevant authorities
- Participate in tax audits inspections and due diligence activities
- Assist the Finance team with accounting and administrative tasks (journal entries reconciliations reporting)
- Manage electronic invoicing processes
- Maintain tax documentation and registers
Requirements:
- Degree in Economics or related fields
- Proven experience in tax management preferably in structured companies or professional firms
- In-depth knowledge of Italian tax regulations and key international tax principles
- Familiarity with digital archiving and compliance processes
- Excellent command of Excel and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
- Good written and spoken English
- Accuracy confidentiality analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Teamwork attitude and operational flexibility
