Housekeeping Full-time Temporary Position

Schedule: 7.5 hours per day 4 days per week!

Position Title:Housekeeper

PositionPurpose:Promotes a professional and comfortable atmosphere for all residents ensuring that the facility is clean and sanitized for all. Responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned areas. Ability to perform routine repetitive tasks on a continuous basis as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Essential Functions of Position:

• Ensures all operational and safety procedures are properly followed.
• Accomplishes all daily tasks including laundry sweeping moping trash etc.
• Communicates effectively any issues that may come up throughout the day.
• Meets goals of production.
• Reports to the manager any cleaning products or supplies that are running low.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Education Requirements:

• Shall have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read write understand and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Possesses clear verbal and written communication skills.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is occasionally required to sit climb balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
