Job Summary
- Serve as a Sr. Software Engineer on a cross-functional team enhancing Disneys advertising platform with machine learning and AI solutions.
- Design build and maintain backend microservices using Spring Boot (Java) and pivot to front-end development in React as project needs demand.
- Develop and optimize high-level scalable and highly available backend systems for AWS cloud environments.
- Implement big data processing pipelines utilizing Python Scala Spark and Airflow.
- Build next-generation experiment and simulation platforms to support advertising decisioning A/B testing and advanced business performance analytics.
- Collaborate with researchers to productize innovative machine learning solutions for advertising optimization and prediction.
- Design and develop scalable distributed systems with a focus on performance flexibility and reusability.
- Ensure best engineering practices are followed including design patterns code reviews CI/CD and automated testing.
- Work closely with program managers product managers SDETs and researchers throughout all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- (Optional/Nice-to-Have) Opportunity to work with TypeScript Tailwind and gain exposure to AI/ML and big data solutions such as Databricks.
- Contribute to a mission-driven team focused on delivering end-to-end solutions leveraging ML big data and microservices for advanced advertising platforms.
