Your role as a Groundskeeper II

As a Full-Time Groundskeeper II at Butterfield Trail Village you will have the unique opportunity to work both independently and as a team player. Your role will involve performing major repairs on power equipment and executing essential groundskeeping tasks with precision. You will assist the Manager in developing and implementing an advanced plant care plan ensuring the health and vitality of our landscape. Additionally you will help identify project areas in need of corrective action and implement strategies for improvement. Your responsibilities may also include intricate tasks such as irrigation repairs managing large-scale planting projects and operating heavy equipment enabling you to utilize your expertise while contributing to the overall beauty of our Fayetteville campus.

Physical stamina is essential as the role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. Clear and effective communication is vital for collaborating with leaders coworkers and residents. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills will enable you to manage intricate tasks from irrigation repairs to large-scale planting projects. A solid understanding of plant care and landscaping principles is necessary as well as the capability to operate and maintain power tools and equipment.

Knowledge of pesticides herbicides and other chemicals will also be required to ensure safe and effective landscape management. Finally the ability to follow instructions work independently and foster positive relationships with residents families and coworkers will contribute to a harmonious and productive work environment.
