Canadian Rockies Public Schools is now accepting applications for the following temporary teaching positions for the 2025-2026 school year:
- Music Part-Time Temporary
- Construction Part-Time Temporary
- Outdoor Education Part-Time Temporary
The successful candidate will demonstrate the attributes of the Alberta Teaching Quality particular:
- Training and experience working with students and curriculum in the division III & IV.
- Must have experience and qualifications in the applicable subject.
- Demonstrated ability to use formative assessment to guide instruction.
- Understands and applies the principles of the Teaching Effectiveness Framework.
- Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
- Experience in working as a member of a professional learning community.
- Demonstrates skills of a child-centred Educator who embodies the Mission Vision and Beliefs of CRPS.
- Ability to effectively integrate technology to enhance student learning opportunities would be considered an asset.
- Experience working with Indigenous students and ELL students would be considered an asset.
- Must hold or be eligible to hold a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate.
