Pay Rate: Travel $83.84/hour (for 37.5 hours per week)

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) Maternal Care provides high-quality compassionate care to patients in maternal and child health settings. The role involves supporting mothers and infants during pregnancy delivery and postnatal care while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in acute care and a strong understanding of maternal and child health practices.

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct patient care in maternal and child health units.
Assess plan and implement individualized nursing care plans.
Monitor maternal and infant conditions and report any changes.
Educate and support patients and families on health maintenance and postnatal care.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in EMR systems.
Comply with all infection control safety and hospital policies.

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in Med-Surg Maternal and Child Care Critical Care or Pediatrics.
Current or recent Maternal Child Home Health experience preferred.
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in fast-paced settings.

Licenses & Certifications:

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Current BLS certification required.
