Senior Customer Tech Support Specialist (Help Desk) Top Secret clearance

This role supports a Navy customer in Dahlgren VA.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

The Senior Customer Tech Support Specialist (Help Desk) administers and supports daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation file servers and web servers. Duties typically involve the installation of hardware software systems upgrades network accounts network security and web page design interface and updates and local system design documentation. This administrator will maintain troubleshoot and implement network security tools including firewalls anti-virus and intrusion detection services. This Administrator trains staff on software applicable to their position assists customers with information technology monitors system configuration (hardware and software) and provides instruction on computers and applications.

Basic Requirements:Six (6) years of professional experience in Industry Federal or DoD Help Desk Support using a help desk tool such as ServiceNow.

Clearance: Top Secret (US citizenship required)

Education Requirements:Bachelors Degree in an IT-related discipline preferred.

Certifications:

This position is required to follow CWF designation at the IAT III level or 411 Work Role Code with the proficiency level of Advanced. Acceptable certifications are:

Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA); Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security; CompTIA SecurityX (formerly CASP); Federal IT Security Professional-Operator-NG (FITSP-O); GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP); GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC); Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
