The Jr. Product Manufacturing Engineer is an entry-level engineering role focused on supporting the development improvement and execution of manufacturing processes for aerospace components. This position plays a key role in ensuring that production runs safely efficiently and in compliance with internal and external quality standards.
Working under moderate supervision the Jr. Product Manufacturing Engineer contributes to cross-functional initiatives involving process documentation production troubleshooting and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on role with strong growth potential in a highly regulated high-performance manufacturing environment.
What You Will Do:
Supports daily production activities by addressing process issues and assisting with technical solutions.
Assists in the development and maintenance of standard work instructions work orders and visual aids.
Contributes to production planning efficiency initiatives and compliance with quality system requirements.
Apply basic engineering knowledge to support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Participate in equipment readiness efforts process trials and work area optimization.
Helps ensure that safety ergonomics and lean principles are incorporated into manufacturing solutions.
What You Will Learn:
You will learn to gather and analyze basic data to monitor process performance and product quality.
Application of quality standards in the aerospace industry.
Evaluation and improvement of manufacturing processes.
Compliance with industrial safety and hygiene regulations.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelors degree in mechanical Industrial Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering.
02 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel at a basic to intermediate level (data entry creation of tables Pareto analysis chart generation etc.).
Basic understanding of engineering drawings process documentation and problem-solving methodologies such as 8Ds Six Sigma and Ishikawa.
Detail-oriented collaborative and proactive in supporting manufacturing operations and learning new skills.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CAD SAP or MES systems.
