We are looking for a Property and Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment evaluating and completing general repairs and performing manual labour. Being punctual and reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge be fluent with technology and be a professional and courteous representation of our team in all interactions.

What Youll Do

Perform ongoing property repairs and site maintenance.
Clean-up work sites from repair and maintenance materials as necessary.
Perform Snow Removal Duties (Shovel Use of Snow Blower etc.)
Assist other Property and Maintenance Technicians and tradespeople.
Collaborate with workers and other professionals during site work.
Handle and transport materials and equipment.
Use power tools and machinery when needed.
Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions.
Perform other duties as requested.

What Were Looking For

Some experience with general building repairs including basic plumbing and carpentry drywall painting etc.
General experience and understanding of hand tools power tools and the safety that goes along with them.
Experience with small-medium sized trailers.
Valid G license with clean drivers abstract.
Reliable daily transportation to and from work
Able to follow property and site safety rules.
Be organized and keep a clean work area.
Able to adapt to new situations as they arise.
Able to work independently and unsupervised for periods of time.
Work may be required in all weather conditions rain - snow - sun and wind.
Being able to work outside normal work hours and times and as may be necessary.

The Following are not required but are considered to be an asset:

Knowledge of heavy equipment and machinery tractors etc.
Having a good understanding of both imperial and metric measurement systems.

Working at heights certificate.
First aid certificate.
Health and Safety training.
