As the Year 2 Teacher you will deliver a creative enquiry-led curriculum that supports high achievement across all core areas. The Year 2 Teacher will teach bright inquisitive pupils who thrive on challenge and independent thought. Lessons will blend traditional rigour with modern pedagogy ensuring that every child leaves Year 2 as a confident and capable learner.

The Year 2 Teacher will work closely with parallel class teachers and teaching assistants sharing ideas and best practice. You will also liaise with parents through regular communication and termly progress reviews. From January 2026 you will be responsible for assessment pupil reports and contributing to the holistic development of each child.
