About the Role
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and challenging lessons in History across multiple year groups joining a supportive Humanities faculty with a passion for developing critical thinking and curiosity about the past. The department enjoys a collaborative culture well-planned schemes of work and access to excellent digital and practical resources. Lessons often include project-based learning and local history connections to bring the subject to life.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Holds QTS PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Has strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for History
- Is able to teach GCSE and/or A-Level (or is keen to develop this)
- Is creative reflective and committed to raising student achievement
- Has the legal right to work in the UK
