Job Description
A leading independent Senior School in Haringey North London renowned for its academic excellence and tradition of high achievement seeks a permanent full-time Mathematics Teacher (Master) starting January 2026. Responsibilities
- Deliver inspirational and academically rigorous Mathematics lessons across all Key Stages including advanced preparation for Oxbridge and Russell Group entrance.
- Commit fully to fostering deep conceptual understanding and promoting a love of mathematical problem-solving among high-ability pupils.
- Actively engage in the pastoral life of the school potentially acting as a Form Tutor or contributing to house duties.
- Design and implement tailored academic support and extension activities as a dedicated Mathematics Teacher.
- Contribute to the schools exceptional co-curricular provision potentially running Maths clinics clubs or competitions.
Requirements
- A degree in Mathematics (or a closely related field) and proven teaching experience (QTS desirable but not essential).
- Demonstrated ability to teach the subject to a high standard across the 11-18 age range.
- Seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher who thrives on academic rigour and intellectual curiosity.
