Responsibilities

• Deliver high-calibre Biology lessons across all Key Stages ensuring challenging and engaging practical and theoretical components up to A-Level.
• Commit fully to fostering scientific curiosity and excellent laboratory skills in a supportive well-resourced environment.
• Guide pupils through competitive university applications (e.g. Medicine Science degrees) and academic extension.
• Contribute actively to the wider intellectual life of the school running Science societies or lecture series.
• Ensure the highest standards of academic rigour and safety are maintained across all lessons and laboratories.

Requirements

• A strong degree in Biology and proven teaching experience (QTS/PGCE valued but not essential).
• Proven ability to teach highly able students in a highly selective environment.
