Job Description

Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Commercial Property Manager to join our dynamic Property Management team based in Newcastle. You will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio commercial properties across the North of England.

You will play a key role in shaping client relationships ensuring properties are managed to the highest standard and supporting the wider business with your expertise. This is a role where no two days are the same from site visits and client meetings to financial management and strategic planning.

This is a hands on role requiring immediate ownership of your portfolio with a focus on delivering high-quality property management services and maintaining strong relationships with clients tenants and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of commercial sites for key clients across the North of England.
  • Building and maintaining strong client tenant and stakeholder relationships.
  • Conducting regular site inspections and following up with clear action plans.
  • Working closely with internal teams including lease advisory building consultancy and agency.
  • Managing lease and tenancy schedules databases and compliance requirements.
  • Overseeing income collection arrears recovery and financial reporting.
  • Preparing and presenting professional reports for client meetings.
  • Taking ownership of service charge budgets and working closely with service charge accountants.

What we need from you:

  • Degree-qualified MRICS preferred but not essential.
  • Proven experience in commercial property management.
  • Strong knowledge of landlord & tenant law.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential for site visits).

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with property management systems
  • Financial knowledge including budgeting arrears recovery and service charge management.
  • Technologically savvy and process-driven.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior staff.
