Job Summary

Position: Trading Platform Administrator

Location: Limassol Cyprus

Employment type: Full-time

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and optimize server environments to ensure high performance stability and security.
Administer and maintain platform configurations including user access security settings and data backups.
Monitor system performance using tools such as Zabbix (or equivalent) and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Apply regular system updates patches and enhancements to maintain security and efficiency.
Configure and manage platform plugins extensions and integrations with third-party applications.
Oversee and optimize connectivity protocols (e.g. FIX API) to ensure seamless integration with external systems.
Support failover procedures and disaster recovery testing to ensure business continuity.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. trading risk management or operations) to implement platform improvements risk controls and compliance measures.
Automate and streamline administrative tasks through scripting and automation tools.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

Native or fluent in English (C1 level) with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
5 years of experience in platform administration system management or a similar role (experience with trading platforms such as MT4/MT5 is an advantage).
Strong understanding of server administration networking and system security principles.
Hands-on experience with monitoring and performance optimization tools.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell Python or similar) and automation frameworks.
Experience with managing APIs plugins or system integrations.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
