Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our healthcare team for a 14-week night shift contract. The LNA will provide direct patient care and assist nursing staff in delivering high-quality healthcare services during the overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing dressing grooming toileting feeding and mobility.
- Monitor and record patients vital signs reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
- Assist patients with repositioning and turning to prevent bedsores and maintain comfort.
- Maintain a clean safe and comfortable environment for patients.
- Support nursing staff in following care plans and physician orders.
- Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare team members.
- Assist with patient admissions transfers and discharges.
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and requests.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification in the state of New Hampshire.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as an LNA especially in a long-term care hospital or skilled nursing facility setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work overnight shifts (11 PM 7 AM).
- Physically capable of performing duties including lifting or assisting patients.
