We have a very urgent and critical requirement for a Senior/Lead SAP Tosca Functional Consultant for a new SAP Upgrades project.

This is a high-priority position. We need a candidate who is not just technically sound but who can work with business stakeholders at a very senior level and has a proven track record of delivering big projects. The candidate must be able to work on-site from Foster City.

Focus	SAP Upgrades Business-Facing Purely Functional SQA Automation

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior/Lead Functional Consultant to take ownership of Quality Assurance for major SAP Upgrades and Transformation Projects. This role requires deep hands-on functional expertise in Tricentis Tosca for automation combined with the ability to serve as the primary QA liaison between senior business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. The mandate is to ensure the functional integrity stability and verifiable delivery of complex SAP transitions.

Core Responsibilities

Business-Facing Leadership: Act as the senior QA consultant defining and validating business requirements and User Acceptance (BVT) criteria directly with process owners.
SAP Upgrade Strategy: Lead functional SQA efforts for SAP upgrades (e.g. S/4HANA EHP) focusing on configuration coherence process development completeness and ensuring business continuity.
Tosca Automation: Design implement and maintain Tricentis Tosca test assets to automate critical SAP Backend functional and integration scripts.
Functional Expertise: Validate end-to-end business routines across multiple core SAP modules (e.g. OTC P2P MM FI/CO) including iDOC status Sales Orders (VA03) and integration points (e.g. Hybris SuccessFactors).
Compliance & Process: Define SQA methodologies (Agile/SAFe) and ensure testing processes comply with relevant regulations (SOX GMP CFR21.11).

Essential Qualifications

Experience: 17 years in SQA/Consulting with significant focus on SAP SQA.
Tosca Proficiency: 5 years of hands-on functional experience utilizing Tricentis Tosca for SAP automation.
SAP Functional Depth: Strong expertise across multiple SAP modules (e.g. S/4 ECC Hybris SuccessFactors).
Methodology: Proven ability to lead projects using Agile Scrum and other formal SQA methodologies.
Test Management: Experience with defect tracking and test management using tools like JIRA HP Quality Center/ALM and qTest.
