Role: SAP PowerPlan Consultant
Location: Rosemead CA
Role Summary:
The SAP PowerPlan Consultant will be responsible for supporting enhancing and implementing PowerPlan solutions integrated with enterprise systems such as ERP EAM and SAP. The role requires strong technical skills functional understanding of capital projects and fixed asset accounting and hands-on experience with PowerPlan product modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain a deep understanding of the business problems and financial processes that the PowerPlan application solves for customers.
- Build advanced knowledge in 1 2 component modules of the PowerPlan application.
- Develop and maintain technical proficiency in primary PowerPlan development tools including SQL PowerBuilder .
- Work with secondary development tools such as C and ABAP as needed to support integrations and customizations.
- Provide application support troubleshoot issues and deliver enhancements for the PowerPlan platform.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements related to capital projects capital budgeting fixed asset accounting and tax-related processes.
- Support and participate in implementation or upgrade projects involving PowerPlan and integrated ERP/EAM systems (e.g. SAP).
- Assist in running and delivering enterprise-level software solutions with a strong focus on performance quality and end-user satisfaction.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives as PowerPlan evolves offering input on operational enhancements and team processes.
- Demonstrate a strong team-oriented mindset and contribute to the success of PowerPlan initiatives and overall project goals.
Required Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience working with or supporting PowerPlan products.
- Strong understanding of capital projects capital budgets fixed asset accounting or business tax software.
- Experience working with enterprise applications such as ERP (SAP) or EAM solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL and object-oriented programming tools; experience with PowerBuilder preferred.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams understand financial data flows and support enterprise-grade applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience implementing or customizing PowerPlan modules.
- Knowledge of ABAP for SAP-related integrations.
- Exposure to C programming for secondary development work.
