Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team within Global Trading at Client. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of both front-end and back-end development with a strong emphasis on creating and maintaining scalable high-performance applications. This role requires a professional who can seamlessly integrate into our team contributing to the development of innovative solutions that drive our trading operations. The candidate will be working closely with Global Tradings Quantitative Analytics team to develop data products models and visualizations.

Ability to manage workload under time pressure and changing priorities
Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies

Skills and Qualifications:

Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript and frameworks like React or Angular.
Strong back-end development skills using Python or similar languages.
Develop and maintain web applications using modern frameworks and technologies
Help maintain code quality organization and automation
Experience with database management systems such as SQL PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS Azure or GCP).

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience:

Experience in the oil and gas industry particularly within trading operations is highly desirable.
Understanding of market data trading systems and financial instruments related to oil and gas.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
3 years of professional software development experience
Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies.
Proven experience in building operating and supporting robust and performant databases and data pipelines
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems
Solid understanding of data modelling indexing and query optimization techniques
Proficient in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries (React preferred)
Familiarity with database systems. Full-stack development experience is preferred.
Experience with Databricks and Snowflake
Solid understanding of web performance optimization security and best practices.
