Job Summary

Job Title: Foundry Engineer

Location: Onsite 2-3 days per week in Alexandria or Washington DC

Duration: Contract to Hire (would be open to Direct Hire)

Citizenship: US Citizen with active Secret Clearance

Top Requirements

Coach and lead teams

All tech (Foundry full software set PySpark Databricks).

Must know the low code module app development part

Not really a data engineer someone whos comfortable with the app side

At least 1 year of Foundry experience

6 years of development experience overall

Top Must-Have Requirements:

At least 1 year of direct Palantir Foundry experience (pipeline building object maintenance app development)

6 years overall development experience (e.g. PySpark Databricks low-code data engineering)

Strong understanding of low-code modules and Foundrys application development layer

Ability to coach/lead technical teams in a collaborative client-facing environment

Federal/DoD experience preferred

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in IT Information Systems or related field

Active Secret Clearance

Proficiency in Python SQL and ETL frameworks

Experience working with AWS Azure or GCP and integrating cloud/on-prem data sources

Solid knowledge of data modeling metadata ontologies and governance best practices
