About the Role

Were seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in designing building and optimizing data pipelines and data models that support critical business insights and AI/analytics initiatives. This is a hands-on engineering role with a focus on data modeling transformation and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Design implement and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and transform data from multiple sources into clean structured datasets.
Develop and optimize data models to support analytics reporting and machine learning workloads.
Write efficient and maintainable SQL to support data transformations validations and performance tuning.
Use Python to build reusable data processing components automate workflows and integrate with APIs or third-party systems.
Collaborate closely with data analysts data scientists and software engineers to ensure data is accurate accessible and scalable.
Monitor troubleshoot and continuously improve data pipelines for reliability and performance.
Contribute to data architecture decisions and advocate for best practices in data engineering.

Required Qualifications

3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role.
Strong expertise in SQL and data modeling for both analytical and operational use cases.
Proficiency in Python for data manipulation scripting and pipeline development.
Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using modern frameworks or orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow dbt Prefect etc.).
Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. Snowflake BigQuery Redshift Azure Synapse or similar).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with data warehouse/lakehouse architectures.
Familiarity with CI/CD workflows for data pipelines.
Exposure to data governance security and compliance best practices.
Knowledge of modern data observability and monitoring tools.
