About the Role
Were seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in designing building and optimizing data pipelines and data models that support critical business insights and AI/analytics initiatives. This is a hands-on engineering role with a focus on data modeling transformation and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design implement and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and transform data from multiple sources into clean structured datasets.
- Develop and optimize data models to support analytics reporting and machine learning workloads.
- Write efficient and maintainable SQL to support data transformations validations and performance tuning.
- Use Python to build reusable data processing components automate workflows and integrate with APIs or third-party systems.
- Collaborate closely with data analysts data scientists and software engineers to ensure data is accurate accessible and scalable.
- Monitor troubleshoot and continuously improve data pipelines for reliability and performance.
- Contribute to data architecture decisions and advocate for best practices in data engineering.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role.
- Strong expertise in SQL and data modeling for both analytical and operational use cases.
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation scripting and pipeline development.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using modern frameworks or orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow dbt Prefect etc.).
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. Snowflake BigQuery Redshift Azure Synapse or similar).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data warehouse/lakehouse architectures.
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows for data pipelines.
- Exposure to data governance security and compliance best practices.
- Knowledge of modern data observability and monitoring tools.
