Job Description

Job Title: Lead Pharmacy Technician
Specialty: Meds by Mail (MbM) / CHAMPVA - leadership & coordination of contract technician staff
Location: 2103 Veterans Blvd Suite 21 Dublin GA 31021
Duration: 1 year contract

Shift Schedule:

8-hour shifts within 7:00 AM 7:30 PM Monday Friday (local).

Hours may expand to evenings/weekends/split shifts per workload.

License /Certifications:

  • PTCB certification

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED.


Minimum Qualification/ Experience:

  • All Pharmacy Technician minimums plus:
    • Demonstrated interpersonal skills for effective peer interaction.
    • Demonstrated experience leading a group/project indicating ability to supervise/manage others.
    • Demonstrated admin/records-management experience (background investigations training reporting).

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all Pharmacy Technician tasks.
  • Assist with scheduling timecard corrections and field questions from contract staff.
  • Maintain records on staff background investigations and training; prepare reports.
  • Oversee day-to-day administration/coordination of contract technician activities with other production areas.
  • Assist with training/education; participate in ongoing performance evaluation.
  • Initiate corrective actions for conduct violations; monitor tardiness/sick leave.
  • Plan/publish work schedules to ensure staffing; recommend resource allocation to improve efficiency.
  • Monitor work output; report issues to MbM COR.
  • Enforce training/disciplinary actions for quality (medication errors) and quantity (below-average production).
  • Ensure mandatory training is completed on time; resolve personnel problems/complaints.
