MRI Technician Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technician to join our team in a state-of-the-art facility. This role focuses on delivering accurate safe imaging studies while ensuring patient comfort and providing excellent care throughout the MRI process.
Location: Newark DE or Dover DE
Qualifications
Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
Experience in hospital or imaging center setting preferred.
Strong interpersonal and patient-care skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Job Description
Perform MRI exams following physician requisitions and established protocols
Prepare and screen patients for safety (metal implants etc.)
Ensure patient comfort with call button blankets and music options
Operate MRI equipment and communicate with radiologists as needed
Assist occasionally with arthrograms and maintain infection control standards
Manage MRI supplies medications and documentation
Respond promptly to emergencies and work independently with sound judgment
