Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving associate to join our Tulsa-based manufacturing team. The Shipping & Receiving role involves managing both inbound and outbound materials maintaining accurate inventory and handling shipments with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have solid forklift and computer skills a strong work ethic and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The Shipping & Receiving associate plays a key role in ensuring all materials are processed accurately safely and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Process and verify incoming and outgoing shipments using computer systems.
- Handle inventory control tasks including tracking labeling and storage.
- Prepare domestic and international shipments including packing crates and documentation.
- Ensure all quality documents are sent to QC with purchase order and job order copies.
- Maintain a clean safe and organized work area.
- Perform basic and advanced math calculations for inventory accuracy.
- Support other departments as needed and assist in continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of Shipping & Receiving experience.
- Forklift and pallet jack operation experience required.
- Strong computer and inventory management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
