Position Overview
We are currently hiring a dependable Kettle Floor Asst/Grease Maker to join a Tulsa-based manufacturing team. The Kettle Floor Asst/Grease Maker is responsible for all aspects of the grease-making processensuring that production procedures are accurately followed and equipment is properly operated. The Kettle Floor Asst/Grease Maker plays a key role in achieving a high level of finished product quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor mixing and grease-making equipment safely and accurately.
- Ensure production procedures and formulas are followed to maintain product consistency.
- Perform basic math and algebraic calculations related to measurements and mixing ratios.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers supervisors and lab personnel.
- Assist with the development and improvement of grease manufacturing processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Complete production runs with minimal supervision while meeting quality standards.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of simple math and algebra.
- Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English.
- Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Proficient in operating mills and related grease manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to provide objective feedback and contribute to process improvement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (or proven ability to perform the job).
- Prior mixing experience (paint oils lubricants or similar).
- Previous grease oil or lubricant experience preferred but not required.
