Receive incoming shipments of goods (food non-food supplies) and verify against purchase orders / delivery notes for quantity quality and correct labeling.
Inspect goods on arrival; report and document any damages discrepancies or defects.
Record all receipts in the inventory management system / ERP.
Organize storage areas: ensure goods are stored in correct places shelves are labeled items are stacked safely and in accessible manner.
Facilitate the issuing (picking) of stock to stores or departments based on requisitions or work orders.
Maintain stock reorder levels monitor stock movement and usage and flag slow-moving or excess inventory.
Conduct regular physical stock counts / cycle counts and reconcile with system records; investigate discrepancies.
Maintain cleanliness order safety and security in the store / stock areas. Ensure compliance with safety rules (e.g. food safety hygiene pest control if applicable).
Assist in preparing inventory reports (monthly quarterly) for management: stock status variances shrinkage slow-moving items.
Assist with stock disposal (expired damaged obsolete) following company procedures.
Coordinate with procurement receiving store operations and finance departments as needed.
Ensure proper documentation for all transactions (Goods Received Notes Issue Notes Transfer Documents).
Adhere to company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to inventory safety security and quality.
Education: High School Diploma preferably; Certificate or Diploma in Supply Chain / Logistics / Business Administration is a plus.
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in storekeeping / inventory control / warehouse operations; experience in retail / supermarket environment is preferred.
Knowledge of inventory control principles stock management and basic storekeeping best practices.
Familiar with using inventory management systems or ERP (experience with SAP preferred where applicable).
