Job Summary
Job Summary/Position Overview
The Process Officer is responsible for all the factory activities related to product and process design technical documentation and equipment maintenance. Possesses a deep knowledge of composite manufacturing good knowledge of blade design and mechanical and electrical engineering skills. Leads the Process Engineering department coordinates all activities with the Technical Partner and owns the Process Instructions Equipment List and Bill of Materials (BOM)
Key Responsibilities as (PO) Process Officer
- Support the design and operationalization of the Blades production facility
- Ensure all processes materials and products meet OEM specifications and certifier requirements
- Lead process qualification and First Article Inspection (FAI) activities
Develop internal capabilities in quality assurance and documentation
Key Responsibilities for Factory Setup:
- Guide the layout and environmental requirements of Blades production areas
- Oversee installation and validation of tooling and equipment.
Review OEM design documentation and manage design transfer
Supervise the Plant Maintenance department
Key Responsibilities as Process Engineering:
- Define and document manufacturing procedures
- Establish material handling and storage protocols
- Define traceability requirements for critical components and processes
- Develop detailed SOPs and process flow diagrams for each production step
Requirements
Requirements: Qualifications and Skills.
Diploma - Mechanical Engineer.
5 years of hands-on experience in wind turbine Blades.
Demonstrated experience in setting up or optimizing a Blades manufacturing line.
Strong communication training and cross-functional leadership skills.
Fluency in the English language is a plus.
Located in Oman with occasional travel to OEM facilities or certifier sites.
