Managing and optimizing the supply chain operations. Including procurement logistics
supplier management inventory control and material planning to ensure that
manufacturing and assembly are uninterrupted. They will manage and lead the supply chain
team in the acquisition of required equipment material and raw materials used in the
manufacturing and assembly processes of the Nacelle & Hub plant and Blade
manufacturing plant. They will be balancing both nacelle and blade plants which can be
described as mechanical/electrical for the nacelle and composite materials for the blade.
They will lead cross-plant supply chain strategies with different teams drive cost
efficiencies ensure quality and compliance and build resilient supplier networks to support
the production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing a supply chain strategy for both nacelle and blade plants
Alignment of procurement and logistics with production schedules
Creation of a new vendor database for the local plant with suggested vendors
Standardization process optimization across both plants and cost reduction while
having no effect on quality
Approval and management of documentation from OEM
Communication & Negotiation with OEM on documentation
Source and manage suppliers of components and materials local and non-local
Negotiation of contracts with suppliers and monitoring their performance
Ensuring the availability of all materials and components required
Negotiate contracts establish long-term supply agreements and monitor supplier
performance.
Ensure availability of molds tooling and critical components.
Logistics & Inventory
Manage inbound and outbound logistics including oversized load transport for blades
and heavy equipment for nacelles.
Oversee warehouse operations inventory levels and materials planning to avoid
shortages or excess stock.
Ensure compliance with global logistics customs and HSE standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with production engineering quality and project management teams to
align supply chain with manufacturing needs.
Support new product introductions and capacity ramp-ups through proactive supply
chain planning.
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
Lead mentor and develop supply chain teams across both plants.
Implement digital tools (ERP/MRP SAP) for better transparency and decision-making.
Drive sustainability initiatives in sourcing and logistics.
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or
related field (Masters preferred).
810 years of experience in supply chain procurement or logistics ideally in
renewable energy aerospace or heavy manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of nacelle components (mechanical/electrical) and blade raw
materials (composites resins fiberglass).
Proven expertise in supplier management contract negotiation and logistics
optimization.
Experience managing oversized/abnormal load transport and heavy equipment
logistics.
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP).
Track record of leading multi-plant or multi-site supply chain operations.
Core Skills
