Position Summary

The Electrical Foreman plays a critical role in leading crews and ensuring field operations run smoothly safely and efficiently. This position is ideal for an experienced electrician ready to step into a leadership roleor a seasoned foreman seeking long-term stability with a reputable company. Youll be on the front lines of major commercial projects guiding teams and delivering quality work that meets the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise crews on commercial electrical construction projects.

  • Coordinate daily tasks manpower and materials to keep projects on schedule.

  • Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures company policies and project specifications.

  • Collaborate with superintendents project managers and other trades to maintain clear communication.

  • Read and interpret blueprints schematics and installation plans.

  • Train mentor and support apprentices and journeymen fostering teamwork and accountability.

  • Perform quality checks and resolve field issues proactively to keep work progressing smoothly.




Requirements


  • 5 years of commercial electrical experience with at least 2 years in a foreman or crew lead role preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of NEC commercial construction methods and installation practices.

  • Proven ability to lead crews and manage job site activities efficiently.

  • Excellent communication organization and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings accurately.

  • Journeyman License preferred (or ability to obtain).

Required Skills:

12 years of progressive leadership experience within the electrical construction industry; minimum of 5 years in an executive or senior project leadership role. Proven track record managing large commercial data center or healthcare electrical projects in excess of $50M individually or $200M in combined portfolio. Deep understanding of electrical systems construction operations scheduling and financial controls. Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire coach and build trust with diverse teams. Excellent communication negotiation and client-facing skills. Bachelors degree in Construction Management Electrical Engineering or related field preferred. Equivalent field experience will be considered. Willingness to relocate to the Dallas area (relocation assistance is provided).
