JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active Michigan License required (unlicensed presentations not accepted)
Board: BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
DEA: Active DEA registration required
Certifications: BLS ACLS preferred
Experience: Hospitalist or Nocturnist experience preferred
Other Qualifications: Flexible schedule; comfort managing diverse patient populations; telehealth experience not required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide nocturnist hospitalist coverage for Munson Medical Center
Manage adult and pediatric patients collaboratively with Med/Peds hospitalists
Respond to codes and rapid responses during assigned shifts
Deliver high-quality evidence-based inpatient care in a closed ICU and step-down unit environment
Coordinate with specialists and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adhere to Munson Medical Centers policies credentialing standards and EMR documentation requirements
Promote a culture of teamwork safety and continuous quality improvement
