Salary: Up to 40,000 basic, 45-50,000 OTE
Hours: Monday to Friday
We are looking for an experienced Diagnostic Technician (Vehicle Technician / Service Technician / Mechanic) to join a reputable and forward-thinking dealership group. About the Role:
You'll play a key role in ensuring high-quality workmanship and a first-time fix for customers. This is a varied role where you'll perform diagnostic work, servicing, and repairs while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out diagnostic investigations and repairs to manufacturer standards
Complete vehicle health checks and video reports for customers
Communicate effectively with workshop supervision and service advisors
Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to quality standards
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
Participate in ongoing brand and technical training
Requirements:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Diagnostic Technician or similar role
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Full UK driving licence
MOT licence (advantageous but not essential)
