Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of financial strategies aligned with the companys security operations and growth objectives.
- Oversee budgeting forecasting and financial analysis to ensure optimal resource allocation across security projects and services.
- Manage financial reporting and compliance ensuring adherence to regulatory standards relevant to the security industry.
- Analyse financial performance metrics and provide insights to executive leadership to support informed decision-making.
- Supervise and mentor finance team members promoting professional development and high performance.
- Collaborate with operations and security teams to assess financial risks and opportunities related to security contracts and technology investments.
- Drive cost control initiatives and identify areas for operational efficiency and profitability improvement.
- Coordinate audits liaise with External Auditors and manage financial due diligence for security-related acquisitions or partnerships.
- Ensure that cash flow management supports both short-term operational needs and long-term strategic investments.
- Advise senior management on the financial implications of business decisions including new security products services or market expansions.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- BCom Honours Degree in Accounting
- 5-10 years experience in project accounting
- 2 years minimum of the above experience and should be in a senior management role leading and supervising teams
