Qualifications :
- A bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in chemistry microbiology biology medical technology or related fields in the natural sciences
- At least three years of experience working in a laboratory at least two of which include supervisory experience or as a lead worker in responsible charge of projects quality assurance regulatory compliance and personnel
- A valid drivers license at the time of application and a valid Colorado drivers license within 30 days of employment
- License restrictions that may hinder your ability to drive on City business such as an interlock will be cause for disqualification
- During the course of employment a valid license must be maintained and the employee must notify the City immediately upon changes to the status of their license
In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications at the time of application within one (1) year of appointment the employee must:
- Obtain a State of Colorado Wastewater Facility Operator Class D Certification
Preferred QUALIFICATIONS:
- A masters degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in chemistry microbiology biology medical technology or related fields in the natural sciences
