Job Summary
Maintain reference architectures and ADRs; review service designs and PRs for architectural fit.
Define APIM gateways (products revisions/versioning policies: JWT validate rate-limit transform cache).
Shape data models/ERDs and ensure consistent tenancy keys and relationships across services.
Approve IaC modules (Bicep/Terraform) for App Service APIM SQL Key Vault VNet/private endpoints.
Partner with DevOps on pipeline standards deployment gates and rollback playbooks.
Track platform health against SLOs; lead cost performance and reliability reviews.
Qualifications :
Minimum qualifications
10 years in software engineering; 5 as an architect for distributed systems on Azure.
Expert in C#/.NET ( Core Web API) DDD-lite/service boundaries API design/versioning.
Proven Azure depth: App Service API Management Azure SQL Key Vault Storage Service Bus/Event Grid Monitor/App Insights VNet/private endpoints.
Strong command of OAuth2/OIDC Entra ID app registrations app roles/scopes token validation.
Track record delivering multi-tenant SaaS with measurable reliability and cost control.
Nice to have
Healthcare domain familiarity (FHIR LOINC/SNOMED/RxNorm); privacy & compliance (HIPAA/SOC 2).
Experience with caching/CDN response caching via APIM and advanced policy authoring.
Performance engineering (profiling SQL tuning indexing strategies) and threat modeling.
