Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Administrator to join our team in Gilroy CA. This role is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources department assisting with employee records onboarding benefits coordination and general HR compliance. The ideal candidate will be organized professional and capable of handling sensitive information with confidentiality.

Job Title: HR Administrator

Location: Gilroy CA

Schedule: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Benefits: Medical Dental AD&D

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day HR operations and provide clerical support to the HR department.
  • Maintain accurate employee records files and HR databases.
  • Support the onboarding process including new hire paperwork orientations and benefits enrollment.
  • Handle timekeeping attendance and scheduling inquiries.
  • Prepare HR-related reports as requested by management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
  • Assist with benefits administration including medical dental and AD&D coverage.
  • Provide general HR support to employees and managers addressing questions and directing them to appropriate resources.

Qualifications

  • Previous HR or administrative experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
